Default First Bulk Diet EVER

Alright well I ahve decided to actually bulk I am eating like a boss and so far it feels GOOOOOD. I don't think I have ever had this much energy. I am hitting around 3000 calories per day with about 150g - 175g of protein.

Also it seems like the more I eat the more I want to eat. I am at 200lbs now plan on going to 220 or 230. Then I will decide what to do next.

Now if only you were lifting properly you might put on less fat and more muscle.

.
Seriously? This is not a bulk diet. It's not even a maintenance diet for a 200lber. Try hitting at least 250g of protein per day, maybe closer to 300g, and 4-5k cals.

Even if it's a "clean" bulk (which will not get you to 230lbs anytime remotely soon), you need more protein. Lots more.

My last dirty bulk was around 7k cals a day. If you're feeling good, you aren't dirty bulking properly. I'm NOT saying that you should "dirty" bulk, but don't confuse what you're doing with a bulk diet at all, mang.

Lifting has been going good. I have actually changed up alot, i am incorporating Deadlift and squatting regularly. I never realized the value these lifts had on the core until this week. I am also using pull ups as stables again.

I don't know if I can get over 3000 right now I might try to up it in a week or two if I am not gaining but I don't see how it would be possible to not gain when eating more. This is the most "clean" food I have ever ate in my life.

I eat 4 meals a day and have 1 or 2 shakes.

Already I think my muscles are looking fuller even my abs are looking better with moar food.

Why didn't you assholes get me on to this earlier?

Since we all know you probably have horrible form, at least you're lucky enough to be in Houston now. You know I'd be up for helping you out if you want it.

LOL I might really need help with the form .

I watched a shit load of videos and do my best to avoid back rounding. I'm not doing much weight till I know my form is right. I really don't want to fuck up my back.

Squatting is obviously easy I am still going light until I feel comfortable with the motion.

I've also put decline benching into the mix. I was only using incline and flat.

No shit.

Squats are by far the hardest (non-Oly) movement in the gym to master. Be careful.

Glad you are trying to get some heavy compound movements and lots of food. What a novel idea, eh? Glad none of us ever suggested you squat 2-3 times a week and deadlift 1-2 times a week, drink milk, and eat 200+ grams of protein. Never.

Of course, my money is on you getting about 5 pounds heavier, freaking about not seeing your abs, and trying to "cut" again (and switching to a bunch of tricep kickbacks, situps, and concentration curls), but hey...who knows?

Why are you using decline bench? Just bench. Do some dips afterwards if you have energy. Overhead press often. You're making shit too complicated, son.

I am not worried about the abs in fact I think the increased nutrients are making them look better. I am also kind of over the overly lean look. I think it is too easy and would rather get BIG.

I am using decline bench to get more lift in my chest. I think this is where I need the most help chest and lats are two points I want to focus on. I want more V shape.

I am doing dips twice weekly. Chest dips once and regular dips once. Chin ups every other day.

I have taken alot of complexity out, I am only doing 4 - 6 different exercises per session and just a little bit of cardio for heart health.

I am thinking after yesterday that I need to get up to 4000 - 5000 calories per day I am just not sure how I am going to accomplish this. I am thinking about going to a weight gainer supplement for an extra 400 calories a day.

I am not even going to consider cutting until I get to 230 I don't give a shit if I get a gut and have to buy bigger pants. I am hoping that this will be around march so I can lean out a little in time for summer. I would think in 8 months I can get 30 lbs if I average 4000 calories.

Sounds like you're on the right path. Sure, there are things I'd change, but glad to see you lifting and eating big. Don't rush yourself to the 230 goal, or you can/will get fat quickly, but just make sure you're making daily/weekly weight progress, and you'll get there eventually. Eat as much real food as you can, skip weight gainer crap. Add whole milk, olive oil, eggs, etc if you need more calories.
